Wholesale / Retail Sales Assistant
Iris & Wool is an Australian fashion brand that has built a reputation on designing and producing fashion pieces from 100% Australian merino wool, all from a picturesque sheep station near Burra, South Australia. The Iris & Wool story and passion for promoting the incredible fibre that is Australian merino wool has seen our business experience wildly exciting and rapid growth, with our luxury designs now being sold in stores right across Australia and New Zealand.
The Opportunity
This part-time role (4 days per week) offers a variety of opportunities, working in both the wholesale and retail sides of Iris & Wool. You’ll use your meticulous attention to detail and ability to effortlessly communicate with a wide range of people, to look after our valued wholesale clients by:
- packing and posting orders
- following up wholesale payments
- managing returns
- communicating with our valued wholesale clients to ensure their needs are exceeded, every time.
You’ll also join our team of retail assistants 4 days per week in our Burra store, making our fabulous customers feel welcome and comfortable in our store. You’ll spend your time in store:
- assisting customers with their purchases and providing them with a high-quality shopping experience
- merchandising our products to ensure the store is beautifully presented, always
- capturing content for social media to showcase our products to our online audience.
What will you bring?
Our new team member will:
- be highly organised and be able to effectively manage the seasonal requirements of our wholesale business
- have a warm and friendly demeanour with the ability to adopt the Iris & Wool brand identity when communicating with our highly valued clients and customers
- show initiative, be detail oriented, ensuring accuracy in all transactions and orders are completed in a timely manner
- retail experience preferred but not necessary for the right candidate
